"Can Palestinians and Israelis ever live in peace?"
with Dr. Phil Barclift

7pm
FCC Tacoma- 602 North Orchard St.

Dr. Phil Barclift, Associate Professor of Theology and Director of Liberal Studies at Seattle University and ordained Disciple Minister first visited Israel-Palestine in 1999. Since then he has returned 11 times to do research. Each time he has deepened friendships with various groups in Palestine-Israel and given first-hand reports on the continuing conflict. He spent 22 days on his last trip this March and will be sharing images and impressions from that recent experience.

“Israel’s Hafrada Wall divides neighbors, turns towns into ghettos” by Dr. Barclift appeared in DisciplesWorld, April 2005.

You are invited to experience an eye-witness report on some of the real issues that continue to make peace difficult in the Holy Land. There will be time for questions and discussion following his presentation.
