Rev. Sandra Morgan Messick was called to be Regional Minister and President in June of 2009.
Rev. Messick holds a B.A. in Speech Communication from San Diego State University (1985) and a Master of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis (cum laude, 1990). Her publications include a sermon in Bread Afresh, Wine Anew: Sermons by Disciples Women (1991), "Partners in Prayer," Advent Devotional Booklet, (1999) and various church school curricula published through Christian Board of Publication (1997-2003).She has earned a Certificate in Transitional Ministry from the Interim Ministry Network and a Certificate in Leadership and Church Management from Whitworth College.
She has pastored congregations in Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Washington. Since moving to the Northwest Region in 2000 she has served as Pastor at North Hill Christian Church in Spokane and Interim Pastor at University Christian Church in Seattle.
Sandy's husband, Tom, is Director of Operations and Blue Card Executive for Premera Blue Cross. They live in the Mukilteo area, north of Seattle, with their two children, Sarah and John. |

The Accountant and Business Manager administers accounts payable and receivable, provides financial tracking statements and keeps the Region ready for an annual Audit. |

The Office Manager is on call to assist in many functions: general customer service (answering questions, providing information), technology maintenance, clerical tasks and communication development. Duties also include web site design and up-keep, database maintenance and contact development. Amber also serves as the executive assistant to the Regional Minister. |
