  Rev. Rebecca Hale
Transitional Interim Regional Minister & President
Rebecca was ordained June 1992 at Trinity United Christian Church in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee and earned her Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary where she received the Paul T. Gerrard Prize in Preaching and Pastoral Care. Rebecca also has a Masters in Sacred Theology from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a graduate thesis titled, “Women, Children and Welfare Reform – A Christian Perspective.”

Beginning in 2001, Rev. Hale served as the Associate Regional Minister for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Tennessee with responsibilities in a wide variety of ministry areas including; leadership development, congregational transformation, pastoral care and nurture, and camp and conference ministry. As part of her work in Tennessee, Rebecca developed, in partnership with the Center for Parish Development, the Rise.Shine!Church . . . Congregational Transformation Initiative.

Prior to her ministry in Tennessee, Rebecca held the position of Associate Regional Director for Church World Service. In that position Rebecca coordinated education, advocacy, and fund-raising efforts related to issues of hunger and justice for congregations and denominational groups. During her tenure, she served on the national resource writing team for CWS community fund-raising and education unit.

In July of 2001, Rebecca married Jess Hale, a Senior Legislative Attorney with the Tennessee General Assembly. She has three children – Jeremiah (24); Melissa (22); Hayley (19). In every minute she can find, Rebecca loves to garden, cook, and read.

   
  Pastor Dawn Marie Turner
Volunteer Youth and Young Adults
Program Director
 
Working with 14 high school aged youth and three adult sponsors of the Regional Youth Council, Dawn Marie facilitates the planning of events and activities for youth across the Region. Annual "Winter Retreats" are a primary focus and a renewed attention to Young Adults (aged 18-35) and their faith needs fill the hours of this part time position.
   
    Larry Moorman
Accountant and Business Manager
Holding a BA in Accounting from Central Washington University, Larry’s career has spanned many years as a small business and large corporation accountant and financial consultant. Manages accounts payable and receivable, provides financial tracking statements and keeps the Region ready for an annual Audit.
   
    Amber Saladino
Office Manager
Amber is on call at the offices of the NWRCC to assist in many functions: general customer service (answering questions, providing information), technology maintenance, general and advanced word processing (creating forms, letter writing, presentation set up). Duties also include web site design and up-keep, database contact development and management, minister Search and Call maintenance. She also serves as the executive assistant to the Regional Minister.
