The congregational sponsored intern program is a ten-week internship. The internship focuses on developing leadership skills. These leadership skills are based in three core areas—theology (an individual’s understanding of God), anti-racism, and justice. During the ten-week internship the intern will participant and lead workshops and workgroups. This is an intensive time during which the intern searches for their place in the local community, find ways to express their growth, and take charge and responsibility for projects and events. The internship does not begin nor end with the ten-week period. Rather the internship calls the intern to plan and reflect on their experience, which leads them to ponder their time at the Mission over the course of a year. Winter/Spring
